When I first visited Santa Fe, in 1987, I was deeply impressed with the locals love of gardening. Everywhere I went I saw well- tended flower and vegetable gardens. At parties, conversations inevitably arrived at enthusiastic exchanges about gardening stories and techniques. Now, a local myself, I too have caught the gardening fever.

One of the most inspiring parts of the process for me is to watch the colors and shapes that unfold following the tending of seed and soil.

My Santa Fe Garden clock is an expression of the admiration I feel for these gifts of nature.
